Fall Carnival This Thursday!!!!

Come join us at the fall carnival this Thursday, October 27th from 5:30 – 7:00. There will be fun for the whole family and admission includes food and fun!

The event is free for families who are current PTA members.  Not a member yet?  No worries, your whole family gets in for $10 and gets a PTA membership. Costumes welcome!

Meet Ms. Lloyd


Say Hello to our new principal!

Anna Lloyd attended Ouachita Baptist University and received her undergraduate degree in 2001 in music education. Following graduation, she worked in several elementary schools teaching music, until landing a full time position at Otter Creek Elementary. While at Otter Creek, Ms. Lloyd helped to increase parental involvement by providing monthly music performances and including parents in classroom instruction. In 2010, Ms. Lloyd completed her Master’s degree in Education Leadership. She served as assistant principal at Fulbright Elementary for 4 years before starting at Pulaski Heights Elementary in 2016.

Ms. Lloyd is active in her church and sings on Sunday’s with the praise group. She is a HUGE Razorback fan and attends as many games as possible. In her spare time, Ms. Lloyd enjoys reading and watching football.

It’s the end of a GREAT era!

After 20+ years of amazing leadership at Pulaski Heights Elementary, Mrs. Carter will  begin a new adventure. This will be her final year at PHE. In the weeks ahead, you will learn more about how our community will celebrate her love, joy and passion for PHE!

Calling All 5th Grade Parents!

The 2015-2016 PHE Yearbook is officially in the works and we want you to have an opportunity to include a message for your favorite 5th grader in their LAST PHE yearbook! All you need to do is complete the following form, attach a check made out to the PHE PTA and return both (form & payment) to Ms. Richardson (in the office) NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 19, 2016. You choose your picture(s) and your text (be sure to include your child’s name within the text). The best quality pictures are those taken with a “real” camera rather than one taken with your phone. “Real” camera photos are much sharper and clearer when printed in the yearbook. Little Rockers Marathon 2016


Time to sign up

Since 2004, almost 50,000 children have logged an estimated 1.3 million miles in this training program. The goal is simple – get children moving!

Participants will run 25 miles during training and then finish the final mile on race day – March 5, 2016.  Race time is 11am (hurray for the later start!)

Children in 1st through 7th grades can participate. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult on the race course.  This is a change from previous years. The name of the adult will need to be registered at the same time as the child is registered. Adults may sign up to run with siblings as needed.  All registrations must be done online.
